That through business he thinks at every step in the preservation of nature, because it is God’s work to be treated with high spirituality. Every stakeholder of the organization should understand the meaning of his life and work, which has more transcendental values instead of material ones. Spirituality is today a topic in which doubts are not raised, they have already been resolved, but ways are being found to apply it as well and as quickly as possible. This application has visibly begun in all segments of modern management. How to show in the world that a city / municipality is special or unique? Lately, this idea has been increasingly preoccupying cities / municipalities. Only a few are of course so special that they may not be thinking about their own branding in their future. In today’s age of very intense globalization, the brand should become both the state and its cities / municipalities that want to prosper in a globally competitive market. In recent years, a lot has been said in our country about branding, about brands, about the importance of developing a strong state brand, about developing the brand of cities / municipalities and the like. When creating a brand, each city / municipality, as a unit of local self-government, faces a complex situation in which the greatest attention needs to be paid to the loyalty of the present companies-headquarters, the loyalty of its own customers-tourists and the loyalty of its own citizens. Today, strong city / municipality brands are in fact the bearers of global economic development, attracting foreign investment and creating the economic progress of their country. Solving communal and infrastructural interventions in the classic way, through state grants and pure tax collection, is slowly becoming a thing of the past. In addition, cities / municipalities face a number of issues and problems related to migration and competition. Good leadership must be able to recognize the basic changes in the external and internal environment, and by building their own brand, enable and create conditions for the implementation of the strategy of development and improvement of city / municipality management, always for the benefit of all its users. To understand such a conceptual approach to strategic management of cities and municipalities, above all, requires a completely different approach, perhaps diametrically opposed to existing and established understandings. It rests on the foundations of a new, reinverted approach to the environment and exploring the environment of cities and municipalities. Tourism is in a constant unpredictable, metaphorical expansion. The development of rural areas in Croatia so far has been, above all, meaningless, and where there have been attempts to do so, there have been more failed or unfulfilled programs than successful ones. The results of this situation are visible in almost every rural part of Croatia. Emigration, especially of young people, the aging population in the countryside, generally neglected villages, failed farms, lagging behind in infrastructure, etc. are just some of the features of the current situation. Despite the quality of natural resources, it seems that one of the key factors is the lack of quality study solutions for sustainable development of rural areas. Sustainability of development is still a debatable concept within science, but it is possible to offer quality solutions on the current consensus. With the aim of encouraging rural development, primarily in Slavonia, but also in other rural areas in Croatia, we offer high-quality studies of sustainable development. In addition to projects in a narrower sense, these include: consultations, advice, implementation models, organization, networking of knowledge and experience, performance, monitoring. The projects are intended for counties and municipalities, as well as entrepreneurs, agricultural holdings that are trying to achieve their business success in this segment of the economy.

Rural development cannot be achieved only on the basis of quality development programs. It is forgotten, not known or not wanted to know that human capital is a key factor on which the implementation of development programs depends. Therefore, it is necessary to work on educating people in the countryside who will deal with the rural economy. It is not only education in the field of food production technology, but also many other knowledge is needed: knowledge of the food market, placement, promotion and distribution. Knowledge in the field of work organization, economics of small farms, building a new work culture and approach to work and business is also needed. These are lengthy processes and results will be lacking if a persistent and thoughtful, motivating and stimulating approach is not invested. This is one of the important reasons why we believe that the school for sustainable development of rural areas is necessary for every agricultural entrepreneur, but also for all other stakeholders in the concept of rural development: representatives of local authorities, food distributors and others.
